Become a Member of the 99s
In the USA and Canada, The Ninety-Nines’ membership is organized into Chapters. The chapters within a geographical area are grouped together into Sections. There are eight USA Sections and two Canadian Sections. You do not need to be a chapter member to be a member of the Ninety-Nines. Non-chapter members are designated as “Section Members – No Chapter”. There are also fourteen country sections.
As indicated on our home page, we have twelve chapters in the five-state Mid-Atlantic Section. We encourage new members to join a chapter. This gives you the opportunity to meet and talk with other women pilots and share adventures with us. A lot of the benefit of 99s membership comes from knowing women pilots who are local as well as participating at events that are at the section and international level.
Student pilots joining The Ninety-Nines as Future Women Pilots are required to be a chapter member. This is so we can encourage / mentor them as their training progresses.
